Well - the new Image is hot off the press today. It has my Chasing a Legend story in it about some details of why I think (after 3 years of research) that the legend of Theodosia Burr Alston dying in the arms of an English speaking Karankawa Indian in the mouth of the San Bernard River after the pirate boat she was held captive in broke apart during a great storm (1816). It'll hit the Chambers of Commerce in the next week or so - so look for it. It's an added treat because my friend, Kristin Shirley drew the art for me for the story - our first, but not last - collaboration. Check it out!
