I haven't had time to post - lifes been in the way.
Since June 14th, Tim's dad was hospitalized twice. Once for observation, once for three heart attacks - thank goodness for pacemaker/defibulators. He has been home a week as of today and doing good. My dad cut his foot and didnt' go to the doc until it was almost too late and wound up in the emergency room the same day as my fil was admitted for his heart attacks. My youngest boy got bit by a brown recluse. My oldes boy wrecked his csr. My dad got hit three times in two different vehicles ... one was the rent car the insurance co. gave him while his truck was being repaired. His Taurus broke down twice ... once at the ER - so I had to go get them and bring them home at 2 in the morning - then again on the road and they had to be towed. Jared's church camp group got stuck in Lulling for 6 hours on their way back home from camp. The river has flooded - twice. We were getting a little worried .. no a lot worried .. about whether the house was going to be spared the first time. We've rained out 6 of the last 10 workdays. My mom's best friend found out she had lung cancer in advanced stages and passed away 11 days later.
On the positive side during all this, we had a great Father's Day celebration...I grilled chicken and steaks for 18 people. We have gotten two incredible days of riding on the Harley and we took the "new" pontoon boat on its maiden voyage....a nightime cruise upriver -- complete with a bottle of wine and an onboard dance to the band at Dido's. Sadly, other than pulling it in the yard because it couldn't go any higher on the lift, it hasn't been moved since. Stupid flood! lol
