A neighbor of mine in Hinkle's Ferry caught two guys loading my jon boat into their truck. They also had backed their truck and trailer to load our jetski. These were two black guys in their early 20's driving a two tone blue Ford pick-up. One of the guys was bald and (green mile) big. They have been scoping the "hood" for a couple of weeks now. They have also been spotted in a white van. Those plate are registered to a ex-con recently released. This was done in broad daylight. Be careful.

Keep your eyes open.

Have you reported this incident to the police? Or the constable? If they have the plates - have they caught the suspects? It is always so sad when meaness visits the river. Hope you and your property are safe.

Our neighbor made them unload the boat, but in all the excitement did not get the plate # of the truck. Another neighbor so them in Clute and got the plates on the van. We were out of town at the time. Thankfully we have some really good neighbors. They are still on the streets.
